Chemical Peel

The Obagi blue radiance peel is used here at Lake Murray Aesthetics. This gives your skin the perfect glow and tightness you’ve been missing. Although the procedure only takes about 30 minutes, there is some downtime with a chemical peel. This peel is good for mostly all skin types, and treats fine lines, pores, acne, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone and texture. It is typically put on in 2-4 layers and is cleansed off after applied. This medical grade chemical peel uses salicylic acid as a primary component making it a moderate level peel. We require the patient to stay out of the sun for at least 2 weeks prior and 4-6 weeks after a chemical peel to prevent irritation or side effects. The peeling process typically begins around day 3-5 and subsides after a few days. Once peeling is complete, the skin is left with a tight tone, even color and radiant glow. Results are best when a medical grade skincare is used prior to and after procedure for maintenance.
